Extremely good extention of how it is built, and the way it is, sir.

I have always had the best results from air pressure checks on the check valves, 4.60 psi/AIR, umped through the dry line, with hand pump. I use a long banjo bolt, two washers, one flat nut, on the pump end of the disconnected oil line, with hose clamp and rubber hose to the hand pump and gauge. Very light, steady pump, read gauge when you hear the air flow past the check ball.

Then, as shown, 2nd line on pump wheel aligned with line on side post, ENGINE STOPPED, NOT RUNNING, full throttle.

Kawasaki always did have oiling systems that added a lot more oil than needed when not adjusted correctly.

First series H1 should get 600 to 650 miles per quart of oil, under normal operating conditions.
