Oh, they're a respected brand. I still have the Barnett plates I bought in 1979 in mine, so I'm not much help here, other than to prove that Barnett plates last a long time. :lol:

That's good to know. A friend also reminded me that todays manufacturing methods and materials maybe improved from the 60's and 70's, which is the era of these machines. So for certain items of the rebuild NOS may not be the best selection especially for a wear item. I always appreciate your responses.

Chasing intake leak. I'll clean the isolator, intake, replace the gasket and try again. I really didn't find anything obvious.

Well, I resolved the pressure leak on the center cylinder now on to the vacuum test. Initially it appears to creep down very slowly.

What's the turn torque on the crank alone?
