You couldn't just roll up to somebody's property and knock on the door like they seem to do- "free styling". With a camera crew in tow for your reality show. You'd be immediately met with deadly force in many parts of the USA. It's so rehearsed and scripted as to be pretty much unwatchable and an insult to the viewer's intelligence. Been done with their schtick for years now... |

I believe all reality TV is staged. My dad's friends son was a pilot on a show called "Ice Pilots" I've never watched the show but apparently he was a popular character/ pilot... He opted out even though the cash was good because he got tired with the requirement to create drama in every facet of his job... He just couldn't fake it any longer! My reality show is hockey!

Definitely scripted but 2 scripts, one play! I mean seriously, the Leafs have enough money to buy 1/2 the league... How much does the flippen Stanley Cup cost???

One non-scripted "reality show" is Cops. It'd be VERY difficult to act as stupid as most of these perps! IE: Drugs found in perp's pants pocket...response was, "these aren't my pants - I just bought them at a thrift store".
