just saw American pickers on tv frank buys a 1970 Kawasaki 500 tells the guy its a 1971 and its a 1970 guy wants 500 for it frank tells him 150 bucks guy sales it . frank said he could sale it for 700 bucks what a joke. I just bought one in ca paid 2500 bucks frank your rip off. guy didn't know what he had frank did.

Have no doubt that everything you saw on that show was fake/prearranged/bogus/meaningless.

Not sure, but that sounds like a rerun? Was it set in Michigan and found inside a huge old industrial type warehouse from an odd looking older fellow, who's intent was to do what he could to help rebuild his surrounding neighborhood?

I've really enjoyed watching this show over the years. I stopped watching Storage Wars when I read they were staging many of their lockers... :(

sorry guys its just me I just bought a 1970 pecock grey kawi 500 and I think its worth what I paid.i bought it sunday in a shed in ca for 2500 just was pissed because today I went thru it good and saw that the cases were bad where the cylinder gaskets go looks like somebody beat on them and i didn't see it at the time I bought it so I will be looking for a set of 1970 Kawasaki 500 cases anybody no how far the numbers could go between the frame and cases. on the 1970 500,s. my cases are in the 10k range happy holidays guys wish you the best I love restoring these bikes. :thumbup:

Yep, the guy used a front end loader to lift the "Bronco" as they called it, out of the weeds.
A good 2-3 year old episode.
