Hello, anyone know the make and model of the stock tires for a 72 H2? Dunlop F6? F11? K87?

Thanks

The original tyres on a '72 H2 were block-tread Yokohamas - I remember, because I did a few race meetings on them in, err,'72! You can see the pattern in old photos of road tests, riders manuals, etc. I think they were subject to a factory bulletin, in regard to replacement for high-speed stability issues, but they worked O.K. at low pressures on the race-track, at the time....!

Just dismounted original tires last month Dunlop Gold Seal F6 front, Dunlop Gold Seal K87 rear.

The H2 I bought last year had a Yokohama Y623 rear and a Dunlop F6 front. Both worn out. Because they were miss matched I figured these were not stock. I cant find nice ones of these two tires so any suggestions?

Bridgestone BT-45's are modern rubber in correct sizes, as are Dunlop K81/TT100's for a more period-correct look.

Just looked at some pictures of my 72 that I am about to start rebuild on. It has 8879 miles and it has Yokohamas.

Yeah, the F6/K87 combination started in '73 IIRC...! (Those old Yokies would be a bit hard by now, don't forget to change them - O No Yoko...!)
