Are the replacements worth buying or are they way out of spec like a few of the other so called "replacement" parts. I didn't like the surprise I got when I opened up my new shocks(they are going back as they are as worthless as tits on a fish). I am refurbishing my forks and found that the tubes are pretty rough, they would be a little hard on the new seals.

I think Jess offers one of the best deals on the repro tubes.
100 shipped maybe? Been a while since I checked
Maybe you could look for a decent set with crappy lowers, selling cheap at evilbay???

Got a set from Z1 for a KZ 900
Very nice IMO
Fast shipping
Jess also top notch

Don't get rid of your old ones yet!! there is a clip and piece on the bottom that you will need for the new tubes from the old ones..

I used a set on one of the H2's I restored for Z1 parts. For $95 you can't go wrong, they looked great and
everything went together as is should.
