You dont want to mess with one of those old things man.... :eh:

where is it again????

hard to say without seeing it, but they are fairly collectible, nothing like the triples yet though.
Is it a 66 or is that the manufacturing year on the neck sticker?
High pipes or low?

PICS PLEASE

It's here in Calif. The guy contacted me from an AD I have wanting to buy old Kawasaki's. He didn't say the price and I'm trying to contact him. The side of the bike he sent a picture of has no pipe or pipes so i'm figuring high if both together.

I'm not sure. I'm having a hard time getting a hold of the seller. I think it's a kid in his 20's. From the looks of it whats a good price to pay?

My guess from that one tiny image, and not much details, no more than $1800 if it comes with the exhaust in good condition, seat pan not rusted out, nice fuel tank, gauges, etc. A range depending on actual in-person condition realistically could be from $1200-$1800. But again, it's very hard to put a price from that one tiny image AND this is just a guestimate on my part, as I own NO A7's myself, only Triples...for what's it worth. You probably will have an idea once you see it in person, how much it would cost to rebuild/restore that bike to your liking, so then you can make a sound offer with all of these factors and costs in mind. Good luck...keep us posted on the outcome.

Howdy, the kid contacted me and wanted $2,200 for the bike. He says it has approx 5k miles on it and has been garaged for many years. This is probably more then it's worth in my opinion.

Thanks

There will be others, and not too long ago, I believe there was one in decent restorable condition in the SoCal area for about a grand...? You may have seen it on craigslist...?

And 1 A1 SS with the rare high pipes in RUNNING condition sold in Michigan for 12 or 1500 I think, recently. The legendary mr. Hurley W. bought it.

So, 2200.........no way!
