What do you guys use to rejuvenate/preserve rubber parts?

I tried search but came up with nothing. Interestingly, a search on rubbers brought 67 results

Thanks Dale. That might help with my leaking clutch rod seal, but I'm going to split the case anyway. I was thinking in terms of rubber grommets and such though for this question.

The White Shepherd should also work well on grommets (etc). It's a common rubber plasticizer.

A vintage car guy once told me that he swore by rubbing all the weather striping with glycerine every year to keep them preserved... I've never tried it though.

I was taught to use glycerine on the rubber bands of rubber band powered airplanes when I was a kid. It greatly extended the life of the bands, but it may have done this by lubricating them so they didn't get chafed with triple knots all up and down them.

I recall a discussion with John G on the old board some years ago.
I believe he said he used mineral spirits or oil or something like that.
Same deal, put the rubber parts in a ziplock bag for a few days.
I tried using the waterproofing spray and it did very little to improve a used air intake tube for my KH400.
