So if you wanted to do a correct nut and bolt restoration is there a list of what type bolt goes where?
I'm taking apart a 73 H2A this week and it seems mostly untouched. Being my 3rd H2 restoration I
know a good percentage of what bolt is what but would be great to have a source for answers.

I've wished to see the same diagram lotus. I have opted for stainless where I am at a loss, but those cool looking bolts with the numbers stamped in the recessed bolt head is what I would like to see. Placing them in the right application is the quest. I have Phillips heads on my front fender. Doesn't seem right, but without a guide, I'm at a loss as well.

-find the part# from parts manual for part in question
-look at "Parts List - OEM" for part number
-click the link to display photo of part
(H2 Parts Manual includes a photo link)
Alternatively:
-download MSExcel file from "Parts Database"
-find the part# and click the photo link to display pic

Most standard bolts & nuts follow a part number code sequence that includes finish, head type, length, diameter.
-"Parts Codes"

I don't know how to make it any better or easier.
