Here is the Z1 parts seat beside my original. The main difference I see is the round nose on the reproduction seat compared to the more square nose on the original. The other difference I see is the shape of the tail. The Z1 seat has more squared corners than the rounded corners on the original, it makes the back of the Z1 seat look a little wider. The seat pan and hardware are very nice and overall the Z1 seat is a very nicely done and really nice looking seat, not to mention it's the only option some of us have. I will have no problem putting it on my other Mach III.

Thank you. Nice pictures. What is your opinion of the stainless trim? Do you see any differences?

I think the trim is very close to the original.

agreed...but do we have a better choice
A repo is still better than an old ripped mangy seat

The front of the seat does look a little funky . Wonder if it is the foam, the cover, or the pan. Maybe it would look better with their pan and RB's foam?

Appears the old rule of price/quality/service (pick two) still applies . But not a bad looking seat for the price.

Just took a look at one of my seats with original pan, RB foam, and Mid Atlantic cover. Front of this seat is a little pointed also. Must be the cover...

Contact Z1 parts, GUTS. They want to change the tooling. Check your pm.

Hard to believe, just a few years ago, guys were clamoring for "anything" useable for a 69 seat. Now all I read is complaints. No one appreciates anything anymore........
