Working on my 69 H1. Trying to avoid reproduction parts where ever possible. I have collected several sets of early shocks with sand cast adjusters that I can dismantle and use the parts to make a really nice set of minty shocks.

I am not up to speed on shock date codes if there is such a thing. None of these shocks have a date code stamp on the bottom of the shock mounting like I have seen on other shocks. There are stamps on the top cap of each shock. One set shows "K95". And another shows "K97". Would these be date codes? Anyone know how to decode these shocks?
