This will be my first H2 build (h2b) and I am excited to finally be able to own one. Even with all the parts ill need, it looks as though this bike will need 2000 to make it decent. Ill update this as progress takes place. Right now the frame is stripped and painted, instrument cluster and front triple trees are mostly complete, rear swinger is painted, and the engine has been torn down. Right now I'm rounding up parts. I did find the three gears for the tranny I needed today, and Jess was kind and hooked me up with my first dose of parts. Charlie is going to be getting my crank soon, and will be shipping my shift forks across the pond.

Good luck on putting the puzzle together! Who is doing your
shift forks for you and what are you having done?

This guy actually in the forks. I was thinking of calling around and seeing about some new ones tomorrow. I picked up the three gears I needed today. The other two forks look OK, they have a couple small streaks starting, but I'd just rather know the tranny is right when I bolt it together.

This one is going to get the tranny shimmed and repaired, all new bearings and seals throughout, crank rebuild, piston replacement, and a good overall cleanup to about as much a stock machine as I can make it. Next winter....who knows. I think the engine and airbox might get some work. ;)

Your timing for the crank rebuild couldn't be better. I am wrapping up two H2s and one H1 tomorrow. I may actually have the weekend off!
