Will I have to do anything to make the late model H1 cylinders fit my 73? I see that the studs are different and a little further apart. Will the exhaust flanges have to be modified? or am I going to have to go to late model flanges also? Thanks.

You can swap studs or bore flange holes... 10mm I think.

No, I don't know. But 8mm socket head bolts are available.

I always pull the studs and use stainless allen head bolts, but I'm running chambers... They look much better I think.

With stock pipes you can swap flanges or open up the holes as Dale said. I used a Dremmel to oval the holes in my stock pipes for the 73 jugs on my 74, I used the 8mm studs. Most chambers will fit either...

I like to keep the studs for stock pipes as removing the pipes would require taking the bolts out each time. For chambers that's fine, the flanges stay on when the pipes come off...

I had ordered new ones back in Jan 2012 from Ron Ayers, these here, http://www.ronayers.com/Search/N/687, which are the PN I come up with for the H1-D (I actually received PN 92004-1119).

Now, when I look up the PN for the 69-72, I get this http://www.ronayers.com/Search/N/687/PartNumber/172G0622/Source/KA, but it also states, "92004-029 STUD SELECTIVE USE", which goes back to the PN for the H1D I noted above.

Anyway, here's what I received and it looks correct for the early exhaust studs:

Note: These were "special order" and took a little time before I received them, maybe a few weeks so keep this in mind when you place an order for certain parts.
