The Max 2K has held up fine on everything Ive (or friends) have shot it on. I know of a couple of pro bodyshops (one where a good friend is head painter) that use it in touch-up situations with excellent results.

Ive seen ZERO difference between it, and a 2-part urethane you would mix up manually applying with a gun.

As to wetsanding "Metallics" prior to clearcoating?

In my experience, it will SMEAR the metal flakes and give it a very UN-uniform "look". There really should be no need to wetsand the color coat in a base/clear application anyways.
