trying to do the above with zero succses .
new firm damper in NOS side pannel for a late H1.
seems the hole is too small .
any help or hints would be appreciated.

I used grommets from McMaster-Carr at that location and at the battery box. I thought I sent you some.

thanks kevin ,,yes you sent me some of those but i am fighting with the dampers that fit at the base of the pannel itself that the retaining bolt goes though.
