Ready to assemble H1B top end, base gasket dry or with some kind of dressing?Gaskets are Vesrah.

i used copper seal on both faces of the gasket ,
should come apart easier next time.

I use a little sealer on one side and anti-seize on the other because I like to reuse them a few times when removing the jugs for decarboning the rings, etc.. But let your preference dictate.

What ever sealant/compound you decided on keep it WELL away from the oil injection hole that leads to the intake port. I have a bottom end that the PO clogged the hole with RTV. It had a rod break and smash the case! :o :o

anti-seize both sides, actually acts as a sealer, but gaskets peel right off. As was posted, don't fill the oil hole. Thin layer rubber in, is all you need.

Anti seize huh?As in the stuff you put on spark plug threads?Never would have thought it,thanks guys.
