Any idea what bike this caliper is from? It uses a banjo fitting instead of the flared steel line. I'd like to change the allen bolts. Also I have lowered handle bars. I just received a upper brake hose. My question on the hose, should I just tuck it behind the head lamp? Or have it shortened, it appears 3 to4 inches to make a straighter run?

Not sure what you are asking.... if the hose shown is too long couldn't you turn the connection down and run the hose to the outside of the forks?
My guess is that someone has just fitted a banjo bolt where the original steel line should be. Caliper itself looks original.

I want to order chrome/shinny caliper allen bolts. So I need to know if they are H1D calipers. Others on FB mentioned that they may be original but modified to accept the banjo fitting. I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't leak.

The other question concerns the upper brake hose length from the master cylinder to coupler. To me, it's too long for the current handle bar height. I'm sure that the handle bars are lower.

I bought these from Jessbikes. Kawasaki H1,H2,Z1,KH Handlebars KZ,S2 NEW Superbike S3,S1,ZRX This is a brand new set of handlebars. Will work on most bikes. They are 29 inches tip to tip. 2 1/2 inch rise and 4 3/4 inch pullback. Mounting area maximum 4 3/4 inches. These are 7/8 inch bars. Great for your superbike! Get rid of that rusty set on your bike!

Thanks Dale for the help. I'm sure I'm going to a lot more of it as I progress. Bill Bristow on the FB KTOG answered my question concerning the caliper. It appears to be OE.

"The little flare olive inside was removed and the banjo and banjo bolts screw right in, mind you it’s a bugger to get them out. The advantage is braided hoses with no joint."

So only question now is the upper brake hose length.
