I am restoring a 1973 S1 and it specs 34029-008, but all other years call for 34029-011. What is the difference. I am hoping that -011 will work. Thread length looks longer on -008.

I'm pretty sure the '73 footrest bar was dark green chromate and the next years were painted gloss black.

Thank you for the quick reply. I think you are right about the color, but I think there may be a difference in measurements of the part. It is also specked on the H1 D from 1973
