I am in the middle of trying to restore an original H2R tach.. this one was once crashed, but seems to work mechanically fine. There are 2 difficult to fix items: 1 is the glass (obviously no fixing this, but local glass guys don't offer anything this thin). 2 is the trim ring which locks the glass down - this gauge is an odd size - smaller than S series, smaller than early H1 .. any ideas? We found a TZ gauge with the same ring, but that's a big sacrifice to tear up a TZ tach.

And one more question - wha do you think about the little red line at 4500 RPM? Weird, right? Should I put that on my reproduction face plate?
