I'm looking for advice on a decent set of handlebars for my '72 H2. I don't have originals to get any measurements from. Use is for general street riding, no low style bars.

I like super bike bars - 2" rise and a bit of pull back - definitely not drag bars. The good thing is you can get them for about $25 so no great risk if you find them uncomfortable.

Thanks for the post. Diablo Cycles are out of stock, and the Z Power are too much with shipping.
Are the Z1 KZ 900 bars close to original dimensions? Does anyone have the original bars diameter, width, rise, and pullback?
I have used clubman and superbike bars in the past when I raced my GT380 and GS1100, but I would like to have a set that looks closer to original.

Diablo had the replica's back in stock, and I am happy with the quality.
Thanks for the replies, and Happy 4th to all.

I have 4" rise on my H2B and like them, not sure if they are original?

My original-style bars on the Z1 have 6" rise, too high for the H2 IMO.

BTW - Kawasaki put two different bars on the H2

It seems you are right, H2/A #46003-025, H2 B/C #46003-032. I wonder what the difference is.
Diablo lists their replicas for all H2 models.
Height: 18cm, Width: 77cm. No pullback dimension. So that's around 7" by 30 1/3".

I can't confirm that is correct, 7" rise seems too high.

May I suggest these, they are for a [GASP] CB750!

Good thing about bars is they are relatively cheap and easy to change out.

Good luck

I'll have to measure the Diablo handlebars to see if their description is accurate. They did not seem to be too high when I received them, but I don't have them at home to measure right now.

The difference may be that the earlier ones are weighted...
