The original bars had plugged/weighted/welded ends for vibration control,( :lol: ), probably the repo's don't.

It probably made things a little better, not much, but I went to shorter flat/drag bars in 1972, and have had them on everything since! Lots of corners over here!!

I put drag bars on my H2 a couple months after I got it too, Rod, and that's what's on it now. To me they just feel right on an H2. They absolutely do vibrate way less than the tall, wide, and weighted stock bar.

Cheers, Jim, the genuine Kawasaki flat-bars (which are a bit different than after-market bars) were a $1.13 accessory from your local Kawasaki Dealer in 1972! :lol:
