Hello Group,

Can anyone suggest cost effective & best way to bring the exhaust pipes back to life.. Want to understand the process and pricing average from your experiences.

In what way are yours not alive? Are you trying to find a place to re-chrome them, or are yours clogged and need to be cleaned out? (for example)

It is possible to find stock pipes in reasonable condition at a decent price. :thumbup:

Years ago I heard about a shop that filled them with water and plugged the ends, and then put them in their tanks. Unfortunately few shops know about and are willing to do this.

Last set I had rechromed, I had a radiator shop boil them out before I set them to a place in Quincy to replate them.

I had some [Honda] mufflers rechromed a few years back, it was very expensive.
