Hi, folks,
Hope you are all doing fine,

Been out for a long time. Finally started my 3rd triple project this year (was waiting for the last 12 years).
From the 2 H2s I have, I kept the "best" original parts for this project and with the rest I made the purple special, some may remember.

Mraxl resources site and parts database are being extremelly helpful... thanks for that site
Here are some pics

I noticed I can upload only 3 pics at a time, so I'll add a new post with more pics and some doubts that inevitably are coming..

There is something wrong with the meters.

This bike at the time was imported directly from Japan to Brazil and came with km/h meters.

I searched all the triples meters IDs and could not find one with this style of needles. Also it doesn't have the brake light indicator, but they fit the case correctly, even the trip meter knob position.

Any ideas if this style could ever be used on a H2B?

My guess is that they are S1A/S2A meter set, although RPM is uppercase. Those bezel markings were '73 only.
Red line for H2 is 7500 not 8500.
Japan used the large hole at top of bezel for a speed "warning" light.
The needles are unique.

You might send the gauges to Don Fulsang and let him know you'll use them on the H2B. He can replace the gauge face with the proper markings, including MPH and 7,500 redline.

Thanks, mraxl and Mike
I'll contact Don.

This new project will bring me lots of fun, parts mixed and wrong, but I won't desist.

One day this H2b will join the other 2 triples
