Hello guys,
I’m trying to put the 750 back to correct as much as possible, replacing incorrect hardware, and I have a question about the front fender. Do the mounting screws and washers go on top of the painted fender where it is seen? It would make sense from a structure standpoint but I wouldn’t think they would want to have the hardware that noticeable. Are the washers left shiny or painted fender color?

A small thing but it is easily seen on the bike.

Thanks
Mark

Thanks for that. I've seen pictures of the fender mounted with the hardware visible and not visible, depending on the restoration done. Hard to find good pics of a known original bike.

I've had a few over the years. The screws are indeed exposed and not painted. They make a reproduction kit that used to be around 10.00.
