You are right Dave, I forgot to put that cable where it should go, thanks. I had it almost done and then I had to put it aside while I waited another 2 months for the pipes to come back. When I got the pipes I and finished it I spaced out the cable. Trent, I have used 5 different platers in the last 3 years and they pretty much all sucked. It took 7 months for the pipes to come back this time and on the bike I'm restoring now the pipes just got sent out to yet another chrome to see what happens. Some guys find a good chrome shop with reasonable prices and people that actually care about what they do but I haven't yet. Every shop I used either overcharged, did crappy work, took forever, or all of the above. I am actually using 2 different shops for this bike, one for the pipes and one for the rest. We will see what happens this time. I have to say that on all of the triples I have restored the cranks have been rebuilt by Charlie(triplecranks)and every one of them runs as smooth as a fine watch. Charlie's cranks are Top Notch!
