I compared your pics to my H2C. If you're certain you have an H2C centerstand, then it looks to me like the centerstand mounts aren't properly oriented. Here's one of your pictures. I think if the mounts were rotated as shown with the arrows then the centerstand would be properly supported by the center support bar.

In this picture the stand foot bar on the right is my H2C,
the foot bar on the left is my KH400.
As RB said put up some pictures of your stand so we can see what you have.

This is the only picture I have until I can get out to the shop where the bike is located.

Hawaii Mike.........I agree and I did compare it to another H2C frame I have and came up the same conclusion as you.

Can't figure out why it is not in the correct position?

Does this look like a factory weld?

Here is a picture of the center stand.

Not sure what is going on here and why it is missing the cross-tube by such a large distance.

One thing I do know is the tabs welded to the cross-tube that accept the center stand pin are not in the same position as my other 2 H2C frames.

I was thinking about cutting the cross-tube and rotating it counter-clockwise as viewed from the left side until the center stand is in the correct position.

Then welding it in the new position.

It is a B/C frame and a B/C center stand.

My H2B had all of the steel frame tabs removed by previous owner........ :-( Must have thought it would go faster. I picked up a frame cross piece with the center stand tabs. I cut the tabs off at the welds with a small cut off wheel and had them re welded to the frame with the stand in place as a jig. It clears the expansion chambers too!
