As far as the engine: heads, cylinders [after boring] and cases.

I also sent him the carbs [disassembled] and the rear hub.

Ok, I need some help, guys, getting a little frustrated with this oil pump situation.
Been in touch with Jim, we are in process of rebuilding the pump.

Now it seems at least 1 of my crankcase oil line check valves is stuck, the H2B has non-serviceable check valves - I dont get it, seems like they took a step backward.

Need good, usable lines for my H2B or specific info on how to modify mine with a serviceable check valves.
Prefer to keep the stock look as much as possible.

Thanks

I'm nearing the end of my basket case project and have discovered at least one check valve on the oil lines feeding the crankcase oil is not functioning properly.

Looking at my [disassembled] H1 motor, I noticed it has serviceable check valves as the late H2 does not. Seems like a step backward to me.

What would it take to modify the oil line to accept the servicable check valve, if one is even available? A forum member mentioned that it has been done.

Here is a pic of the two oil lines, H1 on top...

Quick update: replaced the defective pump and lines and I now have a rider, woohoo! Thanks to all that have helped.
Still needs a few minor things but good luck keeping me off that seat!

First impression: this bike is fast! Actually, quick as I'm doing my best to keep it under 5K RPM. Only have 40 test miles so far but the bike starts up and idles nice.
