Does anyone have a good match that will take the heat for the early H1 grey engine covers? Also looking for recommendations on classic looking tires in the correct size for my 69....Thanks

I have an NOS cover that I took to the body shop and had matched and Cromax-94679 is to my eye an exact match. It's the paint used on this one I restored a year or so ago.

My paintshop used "Moondust Silver Metallic" It's an original (European) FORD color.
However, I'm not sure if he tinted it, or just used it right out of the tin. But I can find out, if needed :)

Also, most of the car paints have some metalflake in them, Kawasaki didn't, just grey.

Harley makes a "silver" engine paint that a lot of guys use as a near perfect match... pricey though.
And: "Mopar color called "Argent Silver" was very close"

Different brands of Argent Silver (have not personally tried any of these):

Thanks guys, that last VHB may do it. I think any autozone sells it. The silver harley one sounds interesting also. My bike isnt an oem resto, but rather a fun rider. I wasnt even going to paint smalls on the bike. But I got my body work back from my painter buddy and it makes the rest of the bike look like poo. Soooo....

Don't forget to use spraymax 2K over the silver so fuel doesn't eat it.

I am with GUTS on this one, tho it doesn't matter if you are not doing a full on resto. as the O.P. says.
