Well I got the new needle jets. Closest I could get was 171 P0, O6 is stock, these are two sizes larger than that, but needle jets sizes are like one notch of clip per size it looks like. I set the clips at mid position, swapped the idle jets for #40, went to 1.5 turns open on the idle air screws, went to 110 mains. Got the front brakes bled, has a nice lever feel, little more travel than I was after but it's good as is, has a 5/8" master cylinder on it. Did some short rides to bed the front brake and see how it throttles, seems close on the jetting for now, might be a tad lean on the needles so I will raise them a clip. Went for a longer ride on the freeway, the bike has amazing midrange torque, pulls harder at 80mph than it does at 60. Has a small front wheel vibration at 100, but is dead smooth other than that, pulls great at high speeds, and is decent to ride at slow speeds. It steers well, tracks good in slow or fast corners, gives good feedback and shows no sign of wiggle or chassis issues, will push it harder a little at a time to get used to it. Has the low speed surge/ bucking that is easily cured with throttle opening, and adds character to the bike I think...... We have the Motorcycles on Meridan bike event here this Saturday night, was held with the MotoGP race at Indy but is still here even though the bikes don't race. It's a huge event with maybe 12,000 bikes here, too many "dealer customized Harleys" in it, but still some cool bikes, I will ride it down there, guessing this might be the only H2 there, will see.
