I think the question here is, why was your office demolished, apparently with parts inside :?

GOOD question! . . . It shouldn't have been! When I left England in July of last Year I left with planning permission to convert my offices into a 3 bedroom bungalow. Phase 1 was to be turning the first 3 offices into a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom so that I would have somewhere to lay my hat when I popped back at Christmas. Well, Once the builders were in they said that they may as well put the infrastructure in for the entire project, the "project" then went from $50,000 to $80,000! . . . But you all know how that goes . .

I went home last Christmas to a stunning little apartment 8-) but with 2 more bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 more bathrooms and a large living room as a shell - It was all looking great!

However, it has only just dawned on me that a LOT of my "stuff" has gone AWOL  I can only hope that my batman has boxed it all up and put it in the attic!

I'm actually grateful for this post as I really didn't think where all my stuff had gone, don't get me wrong, most of it was already cleared out but there was still a lot of stuff in there and sadly, although the Intake rubber off my original '69 H1 (KAF-00184) had been on the heater for a decade so that I didn't lose it . . . . it may now be in a landfill somewhere :(

The stock "wide open" airbox is VERY noisy, this was the "Euro" muffler for it - I was shocked when I rode a U.S. H1 for the first time just how noisy they were - the intake was noisier than the exhaust! ! . . . . Hence the silencing from the H1b onwards

Personally I prefer to drown out any intake noise by running expansion chambers. :P
