I finally got all the ice removed from the sidewalks and driveways after 3 days of swinging a pick-axe and got back in the garage to get a 1975 Kawasaki S1C built. My camera card quit and I can't get any of the before pictures off of it so I will only have assembly footage. Here it is so far. Tough to get good pictures in fake light.

The dreaded ice. The last day of November it rained and snowed all day and then turned to only snow and froze. There was 4 inches of ice under the snow covering everything.

Wow - I would for sure have quitted my resto, if I had to remove that amount of ice just to get to my "shed"
Well done, and what a beautiful blue color. Awesome !
You know the name of that color ?

Keep those pics and stories coming

+1 Beautiful blue. Who did the paint?

It's called Halibut Blue. A painter from Arizona named Hector Martinez has been doing the paint for Leroy.

I put a new crank, cylinders, pistons, and rings after it blew up this weekend and now it runs like a top. I still need the decals that go on the inside of the fender and the tin foil one that goes on the seat and the stand rubbers and the overflow tubes for the carbs but I think its pretty much done. The chain adjusters and bolts will be painted black because they shouldn't be plated. I need to scotch-brite the rust out of the ends of the pipes too!
