Yes I paid $1000 for it, about $800 too much ! bike has issues....... :banghead

Saturday was the big day, it fired up on third kick after 27 year hibernation.( license plate reads 1989). I let warm up for a while and seems to have nice crisp throttle response and settles down to a nice idle. The oil lines were feeding oil, it was hard to see if the crank lines were getting oil ( need red oil). Petcock to tank seal was leaking petrol bad so I shut it down ordered one from fleabay With the unseasonably warm weather I should be able to spin it around the block by the end of the week.
Is 125psi compression in all three cylinders good ? With carbs off I peeked in, and all the cyl and pistons look good and clean.

No, that is very low.... should be 140psi.
Chances are it wasn't taken correctly.
-throttle wide open
-kick until no further increase

Ok I tightened my boot laces grabbed all the throttle I could get and kicked until the gauge quit moving.

Photos are #1 and #3 respectfully. I didn't check #2 as it is pain in arse to the gauge threaded in

That 160psi is way high. If the heads haven't been modified I would guess the gauge is in error. If the heads are modified then a thicker head gasket is in order.

before I button up the oil line to the carbs is the jetting ok. 102.5 main and 40 pilots. The pods although not marked look like K&N, definitely not cheapo's. They have been washed and oiled. Stock pipes with baffles that will be cleaned as well

Agreed. 1000 bucks for this H2 must be nothing but a bargain!
