Finishing my 71 H1 and I need to freshen up the engine covers on both sides. Any recommendations? Color? Paint or powder coating?

I understand that Harley has a silver case paint that is a near perfect match.

yep, used it on my s2, compared side to side w a nos stator cover I had, I couldn't really see a difference, the bad the paint is about $20 a can..

If you want your local body shop to paint them the correct paint is Cromax #94679.
