In other words, if I can't find a 72 tank, can I use a 73? You can't with the 74 and 75 because the welded on brackets that the cap is attached to are different. 72blue. |

Once dry, I sand the "paint ridge" smooth and if the inside of the tank is to recieve coating (or has already been coated), I brush/blend the coating into whatever bare steel is remaining at the top of the filler neck. |
