looks like only light rust inside, the outside is not bad at all........ sure it's saveable....... :thumbup:

For me, it would depend on how bad some of those rust spots really are. Like John said, inside doesn't look to bad. The dents can be worked out.

looks savable to me, light rust and dings :think: start with an Evapo rust wash and then strip the paint then take another look :thumbup:

If I buy it I would like to work the dents out as much as possible to minimize filler thickness. Would you pressurize and use heat from a torch? Many thanx for the replies! :thumbup:

pressure is not good, will clamshell the tank.

How about using the method Tim used not too long ago with his expansion chambers - I believe filling with water and setting outside in freezing temperatures?

"Stinger" or stud weld it. It works great! I use it all the time when I do collision repair where I can't get to the back of the panel.
