Those were on the dirt bikes, never saw them on the street models. |

I agree with John, they were on all the "dirt" style bikes, off and on road, like KX off road, and, F/other street series 'dirt' style bikes. I use them on as many street bikes I can fit them to, helps keep the clevis lube in, and dirt, other contamination as low as possible. There are others of these that use a different version cover, that have a shoulder on the adjuster end, and use a cover 'dome" around the cable, adjuster, and lock nut, and lock into the shoulder. The possibilities are almost endless. |

I am pretty sure my first H2, '72, had one of those from new - I'll try and find some old pics! ![]() |

There are lots of mistakes in the parts manual. Not all H2s came the same way either. Notice that the bike in the picture has a lever perch that is a natural aluminum color and not painted black like the later 72's. |

Nope, ALL the early bikes came with that gaiter (and the plain alloy lever bracket) not too sure when they ceased to use it but all my sub 5,000 have them ![]() ![]() . "H2b" style gas tank on a bike in a Museum ![]() |

F serie also have one on all my K triple excepted my 69 H1, very commun if you search on ebay Kawasaki F series and usually you got two on each sale (clutch and brake levers). Very helpful if you lose the screw which helds the clutch lever, the lever still stays in place ![]() |
