I am looking to completely rebuild my H2 front end or buy a used? KZ 750 front end and reseal? I want to keep it close to stock but would make an exception for better springy, dampy? What type of swaps are out there that have worked for yousss.

I used race tech springs and gold valve emulators and a 24mm PVC preload spacer.........it's sooooo much better, no big dive with the EX brake system.......they never will be modern forks, but it's like night and day difference

Bill! Still got an H2? That's excellent. 74-75 H2 forks have much better internals than the 72-73. You can also drop in H1 or Z1 forks, but they are not the same lengths as H2. Or you can take the triple trees off a 350 and use an entire 350 triple front end on your H2. Lots of options.

350 has weenie 34mm forks, that's going backwards........

Yeah, I believe a late seventies KZ750 works too. Too long like the Z1 but just move them up in the triple tree. Yep, had this H2 for too many years John, I've had a H2a and then an H2b turd briefly, my early H2 still in parts. Life's ups and downs. Have made a little progress over the last couple of years.
Lots of nice parts. Chambers, lester mags, painted body set. Have a rebuilt crank and nice trans with NOS gears. Need to get the frame powder coated and new front end. Either buy a couple new tubes and rebuild or get creative. Lester fronts have two rotors so might be nice to find a dual swap front end. Anyway, just need to get off my arse. Last year was first gap I missed in a coon's age and I have a feeling you showed up........sorry I missed you bud.

What would be the benefit of h1 forks over h2?

genuine fork with spacers inside and heavy oil is not so bad, it's even good.
I was really surprised after doing such modifications how the bike became steady (with a good rear too, needle bearing swing arm and Hagon shocks)

If you search ebay, there are complete upside down front ends to be had in the 250-300 and up range. Swap out the stem, add a couple spacers, some brake brackets and add a set of All Balls bearings and bingo bango you have a modern front end.

You could literally find a front end, wheels and swing arm for well under a grand if you look.

I think the O.P. is looking for a "stock looking" front-end, R.W.U. vs U.S.D. , I'm with J.P. the stock forks are fairly good with heavier oil, and longer spacers.

Yes, would like to keep it stock mostly. My tubes are rusted. Hells bells, I'll just buy some repo tubes and do seals and dust boots. Shine the legs. Spacers worked well on my S3.
