Installed the tank decals today. And Aubrey will clear coat it this coming week. Pre fit most of the items. Lot's of nuts and bolts ordered from Partzilla. I was surprised they had all but 5 in stock. More missing brackets showing up.

Finally all the correct parts and the tail section is complete. I used jumper wires from the new battery and tested the wiring harness as well. Stop and tail lights work.

There is a faint heartbeat. I resealed the oil pump a while ago and finally had a chance to prime it and leak check the check valves, all good to go.

The clutch is altogether along with the German push mechanism. The aftermarket clutch cable fits poorly in the case so I ordered a NOS OEM cable. Static checked the ignition timing and adjusted the pickup rotor air gaps. Placed yet another nut & bolt order, dizzying price shopping multiple vendors. They should arrive in the next few days. I'll be able to mount the chambers after that. While I'm waiting I plan on getting the carbs back together and finish up routing and checking the wiring harness.

Found one bent Throttle Valve Stop Rod, ordered a replacement. The new after market floats sucked, there wasn't a tab to limit the float drop so a new set of Mikuni's are on the way. I spoke with Ivan twice. I'm not sure and neither was Ivan about the function of the plate between the float needle. It appears these carburetors are from a KH500. I assume it has something to do with fuel splash. I hope I don't have to mess around with the needles much what a PIA. Guess I have a deadline to meet now that there's a local 2 Stroke show scheduled.

Before I ran into the kerfuffle with the exhaust manifolds I was making more headway. Splashes of glitter. I plan on adding more later on.

Spent the day driving to all the Lowes in Lee county, 4 different stores. I can say I bought every 8mm X 25mm 1.25 pitch stainless steel allen bolts in the county. This is definitely a mod that should be done. Still test fitting parts. I had the foot rest bracket and brake lever incorrectly installed. I corrected the engine mounting bolt orientation. I noticed the swing arm pivot bolt is installed backwards, I'll replace that with a new shinny one later on and get it going the right way. More piddling to come.
