Trent, you must be from the U.K. What's the obsession there in restoring bikes. No expense spared, nicer than they ever came from the factory. Scouring the world for that rare NOS part. Having 3 times into the bike than what it's worth. I am amazed it the dedication you put in to them. Then it rains all the time. Seems like that when I watch Top Gear and Wheeler Dealer.

Good to see people are using the DOT 5 silicon. Definitely no mixing. Everything taken apart or new.

Originally yes but now approaching US citizenship.....
This one has been really cheap so far compared to the prices you see for crap H2's on evil bay.
Paint is the last expense but I have 2 sets to be done, will keep the best and sell the other one to get some money back.
Same with the seat getting 2 done and will keep the best one and sell the other off.
This is the H2 I,ve always wanted so trying to make it nice........

Got my R/H caliper back from the powder coaters today, assembled and fitted it to the bike.
When I get my Dot 5 tomorrow I shall let the bleeding begin!........Going in hopeful but realistic

This is the bike that I originally based my restoration upon....except mine won't have euro seat and rear mudguard.
Mine does have the original handlebars and rear shocks which I wanted and it shouldn't look too far off this one when finished!

Picked up my Shorai battery from RB today at MCO (Thanks RB) and fitted it and looks like wiring is all good as everything seems to work.
Timed the H2 using a gauge that all looks good.
Removed newly refurbished 5/8 MC to bleed it on the bench (on advice of Scrambler). Bloody thing won't bleed or work.
Going for a cup of tea and calm down before I start again with renewed hope and calmness and a few fresh ideas!!
If I can get the brakes done, get a good spark then its just fill up with oils, fill my spare fuel tank with 30:1 premix and give her a go.....

OK placed the MC back on the bike and bled it as per Kawa Double disc instruction Manual.
Bled at calipers nice clear fluid but brake lever still spongy. Suppose I will have to make up a push bleeder to go up from bottom.....Damn this is frustrating!

OK my wife bought me home a nice 60mm syringe from her work.
OK I try the syringe and try to bleed from caliper up. Cant get any in at all, so much pressure that line just come off bleeder with the bleeder open....like there's hydraulic lock or something. Have now lost any firmness that I had in the lever by bleeding as per normal......Grrrrrr :banghead

Make 100% sure the tiny hole (there are 2 holes, one fairly large & one very tiny) in the mastercylinder bowl is clear and NOT plugged in any way. If it isn't clear it makes bleeding VERY difficult if not impossible.

Brakes pissing me off so I,d thought I,d put an old tank on it, fill it with fluids and see if it started.
Note to self......never buy another H2 fuel hose kit from reproduction decals. Fuel pissing out of every hose as soon as I hit prime......
This bike is putting up a good fight......off to find some fuel hose that fits.
