Superb! Can't wait to see a pic of them mounted on the bike.

Beautiful and the silencers too!
I have to ask; what it cost to have chamber chromed and what is Cerma-Chrome.

Cerma Chrome is a shiny Ceramic coating, similar to Jet-Hot, etc. It is applied like powdercoating and then baked in an oven for a certain period of time. After that, it is put through a vibratory tumble polisher.

the word "Chrome" in the name is a misnomer as it isn't a true "mirror" finish. That said, the longer you are able to tumble-polish, the shinier they become. Even more so if you have the time to wet-sand them before polish to remove any minor imperfections that may happened in the coating process. Final appearance tends to be closer to polished aluminum.

and it is a fraction of the cost of actual chrome. Usually around $200.00 for a set of 3 chambers, silencer/baffles and manifolds. Where I have paid well over $500.00 to have the same set of chambers chromed.

They did this to an engine on "Overhaulin", and I didn't even know until they said it was powercoat. Looking closer one could tell but man, the stuff is cool of you like shiny.......

I think the cerma chrome is a ceramic coating. I had my other set of jim's pipes ceramic coated myself inside and out in black. The chrome pipes ran 450? I think. I had to pay california. tax though as I picked them up in state myself. Not exactly sure though as I had other stuff chromed as well

Pipes were new though so they did have to clean EM or anything. Made it real easy for them to do.

Great looking pipes, and they perform REALLY well. Both midrange and peak power!!
