I understand your question, Ron. My four thousand something or other H2 was almost sky blue, and if you had asked me in 1978 when I bought it, I would have said it was not a candy-apple type paint at all. I bought another late '72 that is much darker. It's a moot point for me, since I think all the original triple graphics leave a lot to be desired. If I were to rebuild my H2 from the frame up, there is no way I'd opt to mimic the original paint/decals. But then I never sell anything, so resale value is not part of the equation. And don't get me started on "numbers matching" bikes that don't have their original engines. :lol:

Rodney,
Correct or not this is a House of Kolors Blue over a silver metallic formula I came up with.
Its really bright in the sun and darker in the shade. I find it way more modern than the blue
the early 72 H2s came with?
