I have been making progress on the 73. Waiting for wheels to be laced and still searching for a case. Dave
built a nice crank for me too.

It's a shame the cases hide that crank. It's a nice looking piece.

I had Dave build me another crank a few months ago with the best of everything including new rods.
Have a special bike I'm building for me with rubber mounted cases for this crank.

Noticed the Neiko caliper in your photo. Do they work well? I like the inch/mm instant convertor, or do they all offer that feature? MY most used tool is in your photo, that white roll on the left.
Bet your friend is quite happy. Keep posting the updates.

Ron,

I just sent my gauges off to Don Fulsang this morning, spoke to him a few times, great guy !.....can't wait to get them back.......I was looking at doing them myself and figured that was probably not a good idea.

Also, got my emgo turn signals on, they look great !

Thanks for the info !

Phil

Well after looking for a set of cases close to the right number I gave up. Found a local shop that
could weld up the damage. So the original cases are going back into the frame, cool.
This was before

After the weld, I did the clean up myself since I have lots of aluminum grinding tools.

Didn't grind the outside for strength

Have you checked for case warpage yet?
