Some pitting here but I don't care...it's intended to be a rider, not a show bike.

Great job so far, Darrin. If you wanted to, you could wipe a little body filler in the pits with a putty knife, sand and reprime that area, and they'll be gone.

I have a couple 1969s in that condition why now come over and
Work on one of those if you have all that time. I have all you need
Tools parts and space. Well lets go riding instead.

HAHA! I like the last part! Dave, once I get my KH500 dialed in and painted, we will have to have a good ride. You still have that H1 hot rod with the 750 in it? Darrin will hopefully have a runner by then and we can all go!

Looks like it's gonna make a very nice bike when completed. Well done.

Slowwwwwly progressing...

Fork tubes for the S2A disc brake front-end, and bronze bushings installed and honed to size. This won't be a full restore like many others' bikes, just a cleaned up rider.

What's it matter? If you actually ride it, the frame will be covered with goopy grease in ten miles. I like the satin black, Darrin. And Coops, you're right about the welds... really amazing.
