I'll be needing all new wheel and steering head bearings for the S3A.

Looking on ebay ... tough to really see a difference in quality in the bearings .... different packaging but look like the same bearing via eyeball. Is there a brand to get or ?

Go to one of the preferred vendors on this list and you won't get screwed.

Some kits will also include dust seals (the flat parts pictured). This one is from one of our preferred vendors http://www.ebay.com/itm/Kawasaki-H1-H2-S1-S2-S3-KH400-KH500-NEW-Tapered-Steering-Bearings-KZ400-KZ440-/371008908106, but if you go through or contact Jess through his own website http://jessbikes.com/, you will save a little bit of money this route.

At the same time, having said that, I seem to recall I may have purchased my set of steering bearings from this seller out of AUS:

What's with the word "fitment" these days? The tube says it's bearing grease.

Merriam Webster Online wrote:
Definition of FITMENT
chiefly British
: furnishing 2, fixture, cabinetry —usually used in plural

I've used the term "to ensure proper fitment..." before, but I'm not afraid to display my ignorance!

Think of the wear and tear you can prevent to your body's speech parts over a lifetime if you use "to ensure proper fit".

The word fitment can be used to mean installation. Ex: We followed the fitment instructions. Or: The water pump fitment did not go very well.

Well, it's being used that way, but I don't understand how that got started. I never heard it until a few years ago. I have always heard "water pump installation instructions". I think it's one of those words that folks think sounds cool. Anyway, I'll try not to have a fitment over it.
