 Post subject: DOMED H1 SHOCK NUTS

I was putting the rear shocks on my 73 h1 but i appear to either have the wrong nuts (too short) or i am missing a spacer or something.

i checked on bikebandit and i dont see a spacer,

+1 to what JayDav said.

I was just looking at that on my S3. The grab rail has a welded in spacer the mounts on the same stud. In a pinch you can use a piece of pipe cut to length and painted.

even with the grabrail, be sure to use both the Large Flat washer AND the lock/split washer or you will blow the top of the acorn nut out.

Yep, they planned that crap out to be about dead nuts maxed out with the washers.
Forget one, and watch the stud pop through the dome head....
