Some of the Canadian guys have met my friend Frank.
He recently bought and is restoring a 1965 "Cross Country" (thanks Ric) YM1 305 and he is looking to find some pipes for it.
Chambers ideally even though nobody makes any, or a nice used set of exhaust pipes.
I know he had HVC Cycle do a total resto on the motor.
Havent seen it yet but I heard it looks nice.

Maybe someone knows of an RD or other early Yammy model who chambers could be adapted and may work well.
Found some sweet RD pipes at the auctions too.....

Thanks in advance

Just curious Steve, do you know if his has the high scrambler pipes, or the standard low ones?

Pretty sure he said it was not the "Scrambler" Darrin.

A YM-1 305 is often miss identified as a Big Bear.....they are actually a Cross Country. The YDS-3 250 was a Big Bear.

Thanks for that Ric, it wont hurt to learn more to help Frank out.
I still need to know where to find some pipes.
He also needs wheels but there are a lot of aftermarket rims and spokes out there on the bay...

I'm going to try and help Frank on this but I'll need some info to get started..
Would anyone know the stock port timing on these bikes? a port rub would also be helpful.
