The lines are installed and bled. Pipes are reinstalled and heat cycled x 3. Other than a PITA persistent seep that ended up being the crap aluminum banjo bolts Spiegler has in their kits and some missing hardware, all went fairly straightforward. It was pouring rain so no test ride. Other than a wipe down and chain lube/check the RD is ready

The aluminum banjo bolts didn't seal for shite. I had never seen aluminum banjos and hope to never see them again. I put the steel factory originals back on and got some new crush washers at Auto Zone...

The pipes stunk and smoked today when I ran it up. But yes I may borrow John's gun for the aft section.

I was concerned about the bottom hose too. But it has slack at full extension with the front wheel off the ground. I may massage the retaining bracket a bit to give it a little more.

I haven't yet road-tested these, but using new steel banjos bolts, I had a seeping leak using new copper or aluminum washers, so I ordered some 93786A175 from http://www.mcmaster.com/#93786a175/=rr3unu, and after bleeding a couple months ago, there is no leakage thus far.

ImageRan it down the road after 3 heat cycles yesterday. All was well then I saw this when I got back...
KBS has been very nice and said this is a proven product and shouldn't have done this. They are looking into it and asked for pictures before, during and after, which I sent..

That sux!

Question though, why aren't the welds (?) on the pipes not lined up together? That horizontal line?

Tim I like the color. As far as the bubbles, don't get so close. Looks good on the bike.
