Heading out to trouble shoot it briefly as it is now blowing the fuse for some unknown reason. I had to do the walk of shame pushing it back to the shop twice last evening. It has been taken apart again and run in the shop after careful inspection revealed no reason for the fuse to blow.
Ran it for 10 minutes headlight on in the shop revved motor, moved handlebars from lock to lock, all works as advertised. The glass fuse and plastic fuse box is getting replaced with a more modern push in fuse holder and fuse, then another test ride, Y'All wish me luck.

New fuse holder and 20 amp push in fuse installed. Took the Girly Bike out for a one hour thrash before work. Wheelies were pulled. Headlight was on for the duration and still works. So far so good!! I never did figure out what was rubbing. I carefully inspected everything. I rearranged the gob of wires in the headlight and pulled a couple of the sheaths that were close to exposing hot wires down carefully. So far so good. Charging 13.2 to 13.5 Headlight on hi-beam at 6500.
