BEAUTIFUL!
A nice find! All I would do is put on a set of '77 CB400F bars and use bar end mirrors. (sell me the stock mirrors) Nice lowering job on the seat work, wish Yamaha would have made them that way stock!

Yes, It is good to be back with messing with the vintage bikes again!
Getting better now after new startup business took me away for awhile!
The shop is still there, but is now where I just work on the vintage stuff and is also the new jetski carbon fiber hull manufacturing shop, so I'm now at the engine building machine shop 2 blocks up the street!

The XS1200R engine is a BADASS 215hp 2 cylinder that goes in our 252 lb ready to run freestyle jetski!
Here's my list of billet engines I'm building now!

Mark,

You'd asked me for exhaust pictures so here they are.

http://s188.photobucket.com/albums/z28/ ... k%20Brady/

Acourse these are for the Daytona only. Just about everything is different on the Daytona as compared to the other RD400's. The pictures of the yellow RD and the Daytona engine alone are from Gary at SpecII. I went with his VM30's, Yboot, exhaust, and brakes lines. I would assume the exhaust for your RD would be close to the same but not sure. For the Daytona he offered the classic exhaust and the F1 exhaust. I went with the classic as they were cheaper and he said the performance was about the same.

John

By the way these pipes almost meet under the engine so you will either heat and bend the center stand mounting brackets over or cut them off the frame. The side stand may also need to be bent away from the pipe, I just added a cushion rubber around the stand to keep it off the pipe. The way my pipes are run to near the center line of the bike makes it so there is no way I can drag them, unless acourse the worse happens.
