A few have obtained used TZ750 cylinders and head, and TZ250/350 radiator, and grafted the water pump to the clutch cover, and ran that top end on the street. The TZ700/750 cylinder is a reed valve setup, and makes fora decent street setup. I have done the water pump both ways, simply replace the oil pump in the cover, and on a couple, modified the cover to leave the oil pump in place, while adding a boss for the water pump. I did mime with both pumps in place, as I really don't like to premix. I made a tapered oil tank, and mounted it in the tail section, along with the street electronics for charging, and t/sigs, legal stuff.

The TZ750 top end on an RD250/350 lower end makes for 373cc's, with spacer plate and two base gaskets on an RD400 lower end, 423cc's.

Fresno...Oh, No, I used to live in Merced two decades ago. I wish you had this back then, I had a whole lotta TZ parts, ran 5 of them in AFM and WSMA club racing over the years, lots of class championships.
